Adult Group Tours

Tours

Your visit to the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library and Museum is in two parts. The Woodrow Wilson Museum building is self guided where guests may explore President Wilson's life through seven galleries. The museum also features the President's original 1919 Pierce-Arrow limousine and the new World War I trench experience complete with lights and sound.

The second part of your visit includes a guided tour of Wilson's birthplace, the Presbyterian Manse, the home provided by the church for the Reverend Joseph Ruggles Wilson and his family.  Interpreters will take you back to 1856 when Wilson was born and discuss his family and upbringing and the lifestyle of that period. Tours are approximately 35 minutes in length.

You may also visit the beautiful garden behind the Manse, designed by Charles Gillette and installed in the early 1930s by The Garden Club of Virginia.
