Description

The Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library and Museum (WWPLM) is pleased to partner with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Virginia (OLLI at UVA) to present “Modern Presidents and Their Families,” a four-meeting class beginning in October at the Presidential Library. The class will be taught by Don Wilson, PhD, President and CEO of Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library & Museum. He began his extensive career with Presidential Libraries as Historian and Deputy Director at the Eisenhower Presidential Library from 1969 to 1978. Dr. Wilson later served as the first Director of the Gerald Ford Presidential Library in Michigan, Archivist of the United States, and Director of the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library Foundation, before his work with the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library. As Archivist of the United States, Dr. Wilson oversaw all of the federal Presidential Libraries.

The class is offered on Mondays October 22, 29 and November 5 and 12 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. in the Library and Research Center (LARC) at the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library, Staunton. Pre-registration with OLLI required.
